True Fashion Black Metal – T.F.B.M.
(Yes, an oxymoron…)
Here are my new sketches inspired by Norwegian Dragestil architecture and Norwegian black metal music, all with a Y2K twist.
Dragestil (“Dragon Style”) is a style of design and architecture that originated in Norway, as a local form of Swiss style architecture. It was widely used principally between 1880 and 1910, as an expression of the more embracing National Romantic style. The foremost sources of inspiration for the Dragestil style were the Viking and medieval art and architecture of Scandinavia. It often featured Norse motifs, such as serpents and dragons, especially dragon heads.
Here’s my Y2K fashion take on these two impressive art forms from Norway – Dragestil and Black Metal!
